Amistad Community Health Center was founded in 2005 as a non-profit, faith-based organization aimed to address the growing number of community members lacking health insurance, a primary care provider, and a place to receive affordable, quality medical attention. Our center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which is a Federal designation assigned to non-profit or public health care organizations that serve predominantly uninsured or underserved populations and are located in or serving a designated Medically Underserved Area/Population. We are an FTCA deemed facility. As an FQHC, Amistad is expected to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services for the patients we serve. We also provide services to all persons regardless of their ability to pay by charging for services on a sliding fee scale based on a patient's family size and income. Amistad provides services to people in every stage of the life cycle.
"We have been coming for the last 10 years and love that Amistad treats you more like family not like clients. Our family would not want to go anywhere else for healthcare. Thank you so much for everything. " - Edward P.

"The minute I step foot in the clinic, the staff and doctors are so nice and knowledgeable about the health of my kids. I love the way they treat us!" - Veronica G.

"I have been with Amistad since I was a teenager and they have always gone above and beyond with my health needs. I have complete faith and trust in Dr. Anderson, so much that I have brought my own children to her. The doctors and staff are absolutely amazing." April. M
