Habitat for Humanity of Aransas County

Our mission is to put God's love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. Since 1998, we've served more than 300 households through home construction, critical repairs, rehabilitations, and housing advocacy-with services ranging in value from $200 to $70,000 per household.

Habitat for Humanity of Aransas County is the only nonprofit in the area dedicated solely to providing critical home repairs for our most vulnerable population. Many families cannot afford to address concerning issues like exposed wiring, plumbing, electrical, and broken HVAC systems, or roof leaks.

We meet families where they are, whether in person or by collaborating with local nonprofits to deliver safe, stable housing conditions. Our work prevents displacement and reduces serious health risks, especially among seniors and medically vulnerable residents. With a small team, a lean budget, and high community involvement, we complete over 70 repairs annually.
