Foster Angels of South Texas was founded by Ted Oakley in 1999 to give children in foster care the fighting chance to break the cycle of abuse and achieve long-term success. Today, we have positively impacted the lives of over 52,000 young lives. This has been made possible with giving hearts like yours, especially today.

Children in foster care have experienced abuse and neglect, former foster youth are navigating adulthood alone, and children are hoping to find their forever family. Our daily work addresses these issues through a quick and efficient process, with no other resource who operates like us in South Texas. We provide these vulnerable children and youth with new clothing, a comfortable bed, food security, joining a sports team or dance class, college-related expenses, a safe vehicle to get to class, or a place to call home - among so much more. They deserve a normal life, no matter what that may look like.
