Join Us in the Fight Against Hunger. At the Coastal Bend Food Bank, we're committed to improving the health and well-being of families struggling to put food on the table. Through nutrition education and access to high-quality foods like fresh produce, meats, and dairy-we empower our neighbors to build healthier lives. With the support of our incredible community, we serve 11 counties, including Nueces, San Patricio, Kleberg, Brooks, Jim Wells, Duval, McMullen, Bee, Aransas, Live Oak, and Kenedy Counties.
In the 2023-24 fiscal year, we distributed 13.3 million pounds of food to families, seniors, and children across the region. As food costs continue to rise, the number of vulnerable neighbors grows. Your donation fuels programs that make a difference, such as:
- Partner Food Pantries distributing to neighbors in our 11-county service area
- Mobile Food distributions bring groceries directly to neighbors in need
- Kids Backpack Program ensuring kids don't go hungry on weekends
- Nutrition Education initiatives helping families adopt healthier eating habits
- Diabetes Education teaches people living with diabetes to manage it
- Senior Food Box provides monthly food to seniors 65+
